
I mentioned in my last post that I did a CrossFit workout at the Bremerton CrossFit. Well......I over-did myself and pulled a muscle in the mid-section of my back. I guess I was probably using too much weight with the Kettlebell Swings. I felt it pull on my last three reps. I should have stopped when I first felt it.
The next day Derek & I did a workout at the Port Orchard High School where I live. I tried to do some sprints after a good warm up, but my back said stop, you fool. My next option was 200 meters of Walking lunges. I felt like Gumby when I finished, but the real pain came the next day. I was told that the soreness isn't Lactic Acid in your muscles, rather it's Micro-tears in the muscles, that will repair themselves and become stronger. So my title describes how I feel, and will probably feel the next few days. I'm still doing my workouts, but being selective and very careful.
