~Walking For Your Health~

It looks as though Spring has finally sprung around the Pacific Northwest. I've been doing quite a bit of walking around in the area where I live. It's much more interesting than plodding away on a treadmill, or the rowing machine. Personally, I think that is why many people quit exercising, "it can be boring."

One of my routes drops down about a 1.5 miles to the waterfront. It's quite steep, but the view can be picturesque watching the Bremerton & Seattle Ferry coming into view first thing in the morning.

Going back up is where your heart starts pumping. I keep a good pace to the top. It's so different than being stuck inside, and there is something different to see every day. Today marks 90 days since I've started my Paleo lifestyle, and I've lost 20 pounds. Of course the infomercials would say more weight can be lost in a shorter amount of time, but like I've said, diets are always doomed to fail.

When you follow the Paleo lifestyle There is a huge surge in your vitamin & mineral intake. Also a huge decrease in toxins from processed foods. There are no shortcuts to being healthy, and nutrition is the foundation to enjoy a "healther lifestyle."
