I've had a part-time job in the beverage business for almost three months now. My job consists of stocking beer & wine in grocery stores in my area. One thing I've noticed is the soda/pop, fruit drink categories have exploded in varieties & choices.
I'm guilty of drinking a diet coke once in a while. However, I'm not defending diet pop, which has some issues as well. I read labels on foods that I'm considering to purchase, but fresh meat, fruit, vegetables, seeds, nuts & eggs are my main supply of macro nutrients, and have been around since the dawn of man.
When I think of simple carbohydrates, (sugar) I think of candy, ice cream, not necessarily soda pop. I stumbled across the video, that is certainly informative and fun to watch.
